More than 15,400 Perth businesses in the Perth and Peel region, which were subject to a four-day lockdown last month, will be eligible for the $3,000 business grant.

Premier Mark McGowan said that he understands that $3000 will not cover every cost for every business, but it will provide some significant cash flow.

The grants cover a period from between June 29 and July 6 and are open to eligible businesses with a nation-wide payroll of less than $4 million which are registered for GST purposes.

Hospitality, fitness catering, creative and performing arts, hair and beauty, and businesses in other sectors will be able to apply online from July 19.
